Amazing, isn't it, how little it takes to entertain little children. When all else fails, create a cape, a tent or get out a moving box. You'd be surprised at the variety of things a cardboard box can be.

So cute... my MIL tells a story about my DH wore out his Superman cape as a little boy. I'm not really sure how your wear out a cape. Sleeping it in? Sliding down a hill on your back? But he did it. I think I even had a little red cape as a child...

What a great way to use their imagination. They look like they're having so much fun. What/who were they saving?

Great pics! Ah, the joys of being a kid. You sure captured that freewheeling spirit. Thanks for sharing :)

So cute! I love the one of Cal on the couch. We've convinced Ben that like SpiderMAN, SuperMAN, he's BenjaMAN. He's just recently called our bluff realizing he can't fly or make string come out of his hands. But, oh--it was worth the 2 weeks of hearing him run around the house in a bathrobe yelling "BenjaMAAAAAAAAAAAAN!"

NO CAPES, yeah right! I have at least a hundred pics of our son in tea towels, bath towels, bibs and blankets (with weapons of wooden spoons, plastic knives and golf clubs tucked into shorts and/or diapers). FLY ON!

My 12 year old still likes to dress up like a super hero, but his capes are more elaborate.

oh my gosh, they are cute! My almost 2yo has started wearing his big brother's incredibles costume and a superman cape at the same time. Every time he puts it on, I think of that line from the movie!

OK, what am I missing here. Why no capes? Of course, capes. And tea towels make the best capes, hands down. No capes? Whyever not.

If only I had so much fun with my towels!

It's all in the perspective, isn't it? Maybe instead of wearing aprons, we moms should wear capes and see if it helps us fly around the house getting more stuff done. :)
