Just Tell Me Real Quick...

If you were sitting right next to a two-year-old girl of someone you didn't know on a safari tractor hayride thing, her parent(s) were not within arm's reach, and she curiously stuck her little finger in the real, live, accustomed-to-being-fed-by-safari-hayriders camel's nose...what would you do?

I'm wondering why a two-year-old is not within arm's reach of a parent on a hayride tractor??

(I didn't say I'd stop reading blogs for the weekend - just writing)

ROFL!!! Um, I second the question above, but I think I would just very carefully lean over and say, "baby, Mr. Camel doesn't need his nose picked, but it's sweet of you to try and help." *grin*

I would not allow the camel to eat her. I may even wipe the camel snot off her hand and onto her pants.

I would say "go find your mommy!" :)

eeeewwww! Hmmm, I would probably do as others have said and carefully remove her finger. I would not however wipe the snot off, that is definitely a mommy job. ;)

Safari Hayrides? Camels? Dude, I am SO moving to your neck of the woods.
I would quietly whisper, "Sweetie, the real gold mine is in the mouth, these things spit like baseball players in an 11th inning, stick around, you might strike gold"

Then move away.

This has me ROFL!!!I am sure I would tell her she should remove her finger from the nose of the camel.

I would take her arm and put it down and tell her that it was gross. I would want someone to do that for my kids if I weren't able too.

However, I do think it would be funny to watch her parents scramble.

I'd say "Don't eat that honey" and watch her parents faces! : )

I am also wondering why she was not closer to her parents! I would have probably figured out who there were, tapped them on the shoulder, and pointed to the little darling. Unless she was in danger - then I would have intervened.

What a dilemna. I think if it were my children who were sticking their fingers in a camels nose and I wasn't watching, I'd want them to say something to her. What if the teeth got in the way?!

That is too hilarious!

I would probably look around for said two year olds mommy and give a look that says, "I've got my own four to take care of, I don't need another." Then I'd pull her finger out of the camel's nose.

Well, yeah, first I'd get the finger out of the nose and I'd probably dig around for an antiseptic wipe. Ewwww. I wonder what's actually inside a camel's nose. I'm pretty sure it can't be good.

And um yeah, I might find the little nose prober's mom and have a chat. Or at least give her a look.

Nah, I wouldn't do that. Because she'd probably burst into tears and start telling all about her horrible day and I'd feel awful.

Actually, I might just let the little girl's finger stay tucked up inside that nose. I mean, it's not like they have teeth in there or anything. Right?

Does anyone actually know what's in a camel's nose. Because now I really need to know.

I would -very very quickly- take my camera out of my purse, and wait for hilarity to ensue (so blog worthy!)
:D
Camel boogers...ha ha ha!

Probably exactly what you did - then when I got the acid from daddy, I probably would have said something like, "Maybe you should be watching your kid a little closer" - in a barely veiled sneer. If the hand was in the nose, that's awfully close to the teeth!!
