This Is Me, Being a Whiney Wimp

I had a bunch of bloggity interest floating in my head Monday afternoon, but as of yesterday, I really. do not feel well. I have a regularly scheduled doctor appointment this afternoon so...

If it's just being pregnant, then I'll suck it up and try to take it like a real woman. (He, he, he) And if it's something in addition to gestating, I'm sure I'll be miraculously well enough to come back and complain about how I really don't need this right now.

Until then, pretty much all I can think of doing is calling my husband and asking him to come home and prop me up. Or to at least listen to the boys' knock-knock jokes for me:

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Duck who?
Duck Apple!!!

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Banana Head Pants.
Banana Head Pants who?
Banana Head Pants walking across the street with a tree!

I really wouldn't bring him home from work for that... But right now I'm going to give them some yogurt for breakfast then take up residence on the couch and try to keep myself from inventing diseases and complications and worries that I really don't need right now. Just give me a day.

Happy Wednesday. If you think of any actual knock-knock jokes (like with real, play-of-words, moderately humorous punchlines), feel free to pass them on. I just might need those more than anything.

I started writing a knock-knock joke a week on the kids' snack napkins because after 2 years of jokes like the ones you posted, I was going crazy.

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
The impatient cow.
The imapatient MOOOOO

I love that knock knock joke! It is the only really funny one I know. When you cut people off with a loud moo as they are asking you impatient cow who it shocks them every time. Hope ypur day gets better!

I have never been good at feigning mirth at knock knock jokes. At yet, my kids continue to tell them to me!! ARgggggh! Drives me crazy I tell you.

Hope you feel better soon. This wacky weather has everybody sick as a dog, doesn't it?

I never can remember a good joke, so none from me today.

I sure hope you feel better soon. I can't believe you're this far along all ready. It seems like just a couple months ago that you announced you were pregnant.

Unfortunately, I have no good jokes. My son has been reading out of a knock-knock joke book for days! "Knock-knock. Who's there? Poodle. Poodle who? Poodle little oil on that door. It's squeaky!" I feel your pain!

I hope you are feeling better soon!

I HATE TODDLER JOKES. I even try telling the same kind of jokes they tell (you know, to show them how unfunny they are) and the love it. I actually have held joke lessons to teach them real jokes, but I still have to pretend to laugh because now I've heard the good jokes a zillion times. UG.

knock knock
who's there?
Ice cream
Ice cream who?
I scream if you tell me anymore jokes!!!

I don't know any good knock knock jokes, partly because they all need to be banned. However, I know some good your mama jokes.

Your mama's armpits are so hairy it looks like she has the Jackson 5 in a headlock.

Your mama's so fat she had to be baptized at Sea World.

That's all I remember for now. Hopefully you like your mama jokes. If not, I apologize.

I hope you are feeling better!

Here is my daughters first knock knock joke...
Knock Knock!
Who's there?
Banana pie face!
Banana pie face, who?
Banana pie face you!
Proceed to roll on the floor laughing. Just don't be rolling on your stomach.
